Effective September 1, 2026, Medlin Accounting is freeware. It is free for anyone to download, install, and use. Support is provided through this documentation.
Customers who were licensed before that date keep their license. That includes access to the encrypted online backup system, and email support for 180 days after their order was processed.
Medlin Accounting is a stand alone program. No other programs are needed. All data is stored on your computer.
Medlin Accounting can be used for a single business or for multiple businesses/clients/sets of books. It allows over 100,000 transactions per year, for each client/set of books.
Medlin Accounting can import data from Medlin Payroll and Medlin Accounts Receivable.
Medlin Accounting can be used to fill in pre-printed checks, and Medlin Accounting can be used to print on blank check stock (MICR) - including printing blank checks you can fill in later.
Medlin Accounting can be used for Bank Reconciliation.
